How to Remove Ceramic Floor Tile
It is such a challenge in removing the ceramic floor tile installation but by the time you complete the process, it is really worthy. If you have the broken ceramic floor tile problem, then you will need to get it replaced with the new floor’s cover. It can be the new and modern ceramic tile, the wood covering or the carper. 1. When doing the project, you should use goggle or something for covering your eyes.
2. Then after that, the old/ broken ceramic tile can now be removed. Start the process from the small part to the bigger one. The grout line must be scored using a grout saw. In order to get the tile pried, enough grout must be chiseled for the process.
3. Next, you will need to get yourself a stiff handled putty knife with about three inches in length and then tapped using hammer. There will be some tiles which will get loosened easily, but some are not.
4. When you begin cracking the tiles using a hammer, you should use goggle or glasses for protecting your eyes. Then in order for continuing the breaking tile process, you can use the putty knife. If you think it is necessary, you can use hammer to get it taped.
5. Get the process part by part in the small section. Alongside with removing the tiles, you must get the broken parts cleaned. You will find the stubborn tiles, but no need to worry, with extra effort, it can be removed.
6. Finally, if you have reached this step, now you can get the rid all of the broken pieces from the floor and start to apply the new one.
