This contemporary vacation home in Seal Rocks, New South Wales, Australia is built by Newcastle based architectural firm, Bourne Blue Architecture. Encircled by the natural wilderness of Seal Rocks which is well known for its resistance againts developers attempting to commerciallize this serene fishing village. This can be seen from the entrance to the village road written on the road “Save Seal Rocks The Last Frontier”, this slogan is regularly painted for more than thirty years!
Seal Rocks is small nautical residency in the Great Lakes Council, local government area of the Mid North Coast/Hunter region of New South Wales, Australia. Seal Rocks is taken from the brown fur seals that are often seen on the rocks nearby the Sugarlof Point Lighthouse. The extinct species of fur seals previously a breeding colony in New South Wales.
This simple contemporary house provided by several bunk beds, living room, playing space completed with hammock, kitchen and laundry, and an open seatting space in the middle of the building perfect for having star seeing at night or enjoying fresh fruits in the middle of a summer days. And this house accommodate a big family as there are several room with bunk beds and also spacious area for a gathering.
